At Casa Ikama, two baby wooly monkeys rescued a few days ago are in a pitiful state. They are still very weak and need lots of attention from Helene Collongues, founder of an orphanage for primates.

They will have to face many challenges and pass through several stages before they’ll join the center’s other orphans and begin their rehabilitation process. Will they overcome past traumas and recover an appetite for life given the trials they’ve endured? A daily combat waged by Helene and her team.

 Milagros Ramos, veterinarian, receives an urgent call from a zoo in Lima to examine a group of sick monkeys.
Once on-site, she discovers the animal’s living conditions are completely unsuitable. Aggressive one day, depressed the next; if someone doesn’t come to their aid quickly, the little prisoners could let themselves waste away and die.

Milagros calls her friend Helene Collonges. She hopes to rapidly transfer them to one of the centers she founded.
But Helene woefully lacks space. A veritable race against the clock to find a solution begins.
