Concealed in the farthest reaches of Eastern Tanzania, the Ruaha Park is by far the ideal location to observe the raw beauty of the African landscape and sense the thrill of the savannah. During the dry season, on the Ruaha River, one of the last remaining water sources on the reserve, a fascinating spectacle of wild fauna takes place.

Perrine Crosmary guides us along the river banks on foot to approach the largest herd of buffalos in the country, numbering more than a thousand heads, while clans of intrepid lions prowl the perimeter.
